Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square
Dec. 2
Lincoln Square knows how to put on a party, complete with world-class musical acts. Every year it hosts the annual Winter’s Eve holiday festival, which features free entertainment, outdoor food tastings and other family fun. Start with Lincoln Square's Upper West Side tree lighting ceremony at Dante Park on Dec. 2 from 5:30pm to 9pm, rain or shine. Christmas Tree Lighting at the Tavern on the Green
Dec. 3, 5-7pm
Central Park’s Tavern on the Green will have its Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 3 from 5-7pm. Live carolers from LaGuardia High School choir, hot chocolate and cider will help set the mood as a 20-foot tree is lit up in front of the historic restaurant.
Shop the Columbus Holiday Market
Dec. 4-24
The annual Columbus Holiday Market is in full-swing at Columbus Circle starting Dec. 4! Open daily through Christmas Eve, the shops feature homemade jewelry, foodstuffs, clothing and more in an open-air venue. Grab a hot chocolate and browse the stalls. Ice Skating at Wollman Rink & Lasker Rink in Central Park
Winter season

Chanukah on Ice
Dec. 22, 5-8 pm
Skate under the stars during this annual event that celebrates the first light of Chanukah. Kosher food, Jewish music, DJ and an ice menorah are some highlights to the evening. Purchase your ticket online for a discounted price.
