Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show

July 4
This will be Macy’s 43rd fireworks spectacular in New York City, which is the largest in the nation. Millions of viewers gather along the East River to see more than 70,000 shells fired off. The display starts at 9:20pm on Thursday, July 4 and lasts 25 minutes. You can check out the official viewing locations here.

Summer on the Hudson

Through September
Take advantage of excellent, free programming as part of Summer on the Hudson. Some of this month’s events include “Totally Public Karaoke” on July 5, Silent Disco July 6, the Darjeeling Limited movie screening on July 17, kids’ concerts, yoga, star gazing, and so much more. Midsummer Night Swing at the Lincoln Center

Through July 13
Connect with loved ones or cozy-up to an acquaintance at this delightful summer festival that mixes movement, music, and fresh air into the perfect evening! Dance under the stars at Damrosch Park at the Lincoln Center as part of Midsummer Night Swing, now in its 30th year. OZY Fest

July 20-21
MLB All Star Alex Rodriguez described the OZY Fest as “the SXSW of New York,” and with headliners like Spike Lee, John Legend, Trevor Noah and Tove Lo, that may as well be true. The eclectic mix of music, talks, and comedy will make its way to Central Park July 20-21. See festival details here.
