Where to Shop for Kids on the Upper West Side

If you’re traveling with little ones in need of shoes, clothes or toys, you don’t want to venture far to shop around. Most parents know that shopping makes kids tired, and tired kids soon turn into irritable kids.

Luckily, there are plenty of shops in a relatively small radius on the Upper West Side for babies, toddlers and kids. A great selection of shoe, apparel and toy stores are located around 72nd Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus avenues.

West Side Kids at 498 Amsterdam Ave. is a neighborhood toy store with a well-curated selection of engaging toys for kids of all ages.

For arts and crafts supplies, toys, and a whole lot of in-between, Stationary and Toy World is a long-time neighborhood staple packed to the gills with toys, paints, stationary, and more. It’s located at 125 W. 72nd St.
